Jon Francis

Jon Francis, a Harper Co, Ks native, graduated from Chaparral High in 1980 and attended KSU for 2 years, becoming a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Leaving college to focus on a growing farming venture with his father Darwin Francis, they farmed together for many years. In 1990, Jon entered the AgriBusiness field, embarking on a diverse career across Central and Western Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska. His roles included floater operator, Agronomy Sales/Certified Crop Adviser, Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, General Manager, Grain Originator, Grain Dept. Manager/Merchandiser, and Division Energy Manager. After early retirement from Alliance Ag and Grain in Haviland, Ks, Jon joined Gavel Roads and Gene Francis and Associates in 2021. Inspired by his Uncle Gene, Aunt Connie, and cousins, he obtained his real estate license in 2022, embracing the new opportunity to grow in the Real Estate industry. Aside from work, Jon enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, boating with family and friends, and woodworking. He’s an avid supporter of KSU sports and KC Chiefs football.
